About Me
It's about time to update this...

Hi, I'm Kimberly!
I've been a hairstylist for 15 years, which seems unbelievable to say.
I grew up in the Kawartha's, moved to Toronto for about 12 years, learned so many new skills, and about myself and where I fit in.
I learned hair at Marvel in Yorkville, apprenticed for two years at a high end salon, then worked at a couple other great ones before realizing the classic salon life was not for me. I wanted to work for myself.
To get there in the beginning, I bartended at night (which I liked) and did some work in film and tv (which I did not, but it definitely kept things interesting).
After being on my own for 5 years, working in retail spaces that were not salons, I decided to move home and opened my little shop in 2020 (great timing!)

The shop is small and cute and is not your typical salon vibe. I wanted to create a place that was true to myself and attract clients who could relate to or appreciate that.
Need a place to vent? Let it out!
Want an appointment where you don't need to speak and can just sit quietly without answering a million questions because that's what you do all freaking day? Lemme know, I love quiet.
Need to have a cry? Do it, its therapeutic, and I also happen to be a professional crier (ask my car).
Need to bury a bod...nevermind, but I got you!

In my free time, I'm baking, reading, writing, going to concerts, or making my own herbal oil concoctions for hair and skin.

My heart lives for creating vivid colours and life changing colour corrections but I love those natural colours and detailed cuts as well. I have also branched into permanent makeup and now offer powder brows as well.
If you can relate to a socially awkward, "geriatric" millenial gemini with a dry/dark sense of humour whose guilty pleasure is listening to emo/metal covers of pop songs and torturing herself doing tedious things because the satisfaction level is higher that way, I'm your girl!
I can't wait to meet you!
